Animal House Vets, located in Bristol, has established itself as a reliable and compassionate veterinary clinic with a commendable overall rating of 4.7 stars from 71 Google reviews. This high rating indicates strong customer satisfaction, reflecting the clinic's commitment to quality care and service.
The clinic has garnered praise for its compassionate approach, particularly in emergencies. One reviewer shared a poignant experience where the clinic accommodated an urgent need by fitting in an unregistered cat for euthanasia during lunch hours, demonstrating their dedication to animal welfare. Another reviewer highlighted the clinic's proactive communication and attentive care during a week-long treatment for their cat, emphasizing the staff's empathy and professionalism.
However, feedback is not universally positive. A critical review pointed out a failure in emergency response, where the clinic was unable to provide immediate care after 5 pm, resulting in the unfortunate passing of a pet. This suggests that while the clinic generally maintains high standards, there might be occasional lapses in emergency service availability.
The clinic offers a special "kitten package" that includes vaccinations, microchipping, and a bag of dry food, which is appreciated for its cost-saving benefits. Individual staff members, such as vet Isabelle and nurse Alex, are frequently mentioned for their exceptional care, contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment for both pets and their owners.
Overall, Animal House Vets is highly recommended for its caring staff and quality services, although potential clients should be aware of occasional limitations in emergency care.

Very good vets, kind and compassionate and very caring towards my cats. About 4 years ago I took my 21 year old cat here who needed immediately putting down after she’d had a severe seizure. She had been quite unwell and suffering old age. Even though I’d never been to this vet before and wasn’t registered, they went above and beyond to fit me in within a couple of hours. One of the vets came back from their lunch break early to help. Since then I’ve been taking all my new cats there since they were kittens. They do a ‘kitten package’ which saves a bit of money which includes vaccinations, a microchip (which gets inserted whilst under anaesthetic during neutering, the neutering procedure isn’t included) and a bag of dry kitten food.

Fine up until needed. When emergency care was required response was they couldn’t see him locally, even though just after 5pm. Sadly our cat died shortly after.

I have a five-year-old lurcher. He has always been to Animal House Vets on Northview. The staff always make him welcome. The vet, Isabelle, and nurse, Alex, go out of their way to make him feel at ease.

Fabulous vets. Warm and friendly welcome. My dog absolutely loves going to vets! (luckily only for vaccinations) but they offer great advice. Highly recommend.

Probably one of the best vets in Bristol, definitely know how to handle pets and worried owners! Had to go in there nearly everyday for a week with my cat, they have been giving me updates every few hours to let me know how he's doing. They do listen to the owners concerns and try to understand the worries, then act accordingly. The atmosphere in the clinic is also very good, you are greeted with a smile and from the moment you call them you feel as if you are in good hands.
