We were extremely anxious taking Tia our boxer for CT scan, blood and brain checks following the return of her tumour on her paw. The staff were very kind and Kosta our Oncology vet was so kind and so patient explaining pros and cons of get condition. Would definitely recommend but if you have no pet insurance like ourselves it can cost a lot of money, so heart breaking decisions but our dog's quality of life and welfare is utmost in our mind.

Wow what can i say about these incredible amazing place these gifted vets and the whole team are just the best ever saved our dog Rosie life spinal op absoulutley perfect and was so kind and cared soo much all of them from miniute we got there we so lucky to have such fantastic vets specalust to save her legs do she can walk agian Nickolas was brillant to us hes explained everthing and Rosie comfortable with him from start! I cant speak highly enough of them all freindly kind just mean world to us to save rosie we cant thank them all enough nick is awsome guy! Highly recomend this place for all your animal every time! And the do monthly payments which helped cos we didnt have the pet inn so really impressed what they all do for all animals thankyou again! Soo much more to say but just incrediable people you all are from my heart your blessed to help these animals heal guys!!hearts of gold!😊 🫶🙏❤️🐾

My French Bulldog, Zeus, was referred to BVS for treatment of a corneal ulcer. At our first appointment Savina and Jen carried out a thorough examination of Zeus, being very mindful and accommodating to Zeus’ anxiety. Following the examination, all treatment options were explained allowing me to make an informed decision - a diamond burr debridement. The treatment was conducted the same day which was amazing - this was the best approach for Zeus. Following the treatment, we took Zeus home to continue with two weeks of medication. We went back two weeks later for a check up, once again, Keri-Lee and Jen were amazing with Zeus and to our relief, confirmed the treatment was a success. I really can’t praise BVS enough. It’s always worrying taking your fur baby for treatment, but I was shown such compassion and knew Zeus was in safe hands. Hopefully we won’t need to, but should any thing be needed in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to BVS and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks to all at BVS!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent zero

Our 10 year old chocolate lab, Coki was referred to BVS, as an urgent referral, in March 2025. He was a very poorly boy, and we thought we were going to lose him at one point. From the point of referral we can't speak highly enough of BVS. Their reception staff are always so welcoming, friendly and compassionate, even armed with tissues when everything gets a bit too much! The specialist vets and all the nursing staff again so professional, kind and explain everything and different treatment options/costs that are available. If you have queries between appts and need to either ring or email the response is very prompt. Special mention must go to Lucca, Amy, Caroline and Dan. We will be forever grateful and indebited to them for their treatment of Coki and the love and care shown to him. Coki has come a long way since March last year and still a patient at BVS. We can honestly say that we believe they saved Coki's life and gave us our old, loving Coki back, he truly has a zest for life again and such a happy boy. Thank you just doesn't seem adequate or enough! Suffice to say we would recommend BVS!

After bringing our 2.5 year-old Arlo to them at the absolute brink of death due to severe kidney issues after an urgent referral, they quite literally gave us our girl back. Arlo spent nearly 7 days in intensive care, and during one of the most terrifying weeks of our lives, the team at Bristol Vet Specialists showed nothing but exceptional care, compassion, and expertise. In particular, Lorna, Mafalda & Kostas. Each member of the team from front desk, back of house, ICU team & main office are by far the best in the field. Every single member of staff treated Arlo as if she were their own. Their knowledge and attention to detail were outstanding, and their communication was second to none, keeping us informed, reassured, and supported every step of the way. Even in the most uncertain moments, they took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly, while never losing their warmth or empathy. Thanks to their dedication, Arlo is now on the road to recovery, something we feared might never be possible. What they do here goes far beyond veterinary care — it’s lifesaving work carried out with genuine heart. Bristol Vet Specialists is truly one of a kind, and our family will be forever indebted to them for giving us more time with our precious girl. Thank you will never be enough ❤️❤️❤️

My Miniature Dachshund, Lilith, developed IVDD really suddenly. She was referred to Bristol by a Local Vets and was seen less than 24 hours later. We were met by Riata and then she was examined by the Neurology team which resulted in her having a MRI scan. Unfortunately the outcome wasn't what we wanted but they helped make an extremely difficult decision more bareable. I can't thank you all enough for helping Lilith keep her dignity right to the end. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Easy to access. I had no trouble parking in the car park. Staff are all incredibly friendly to you and your pets the moment you walk through the door. All facilities were spotless and cleaned on a regular basis. Very thankful for all the kindness and individual care our cat received while she was there for a few days.
